The Calgary DC Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of Frito Lay Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will be required to ensure the accuracy of the orders they are picking, as well as ensure they are performing their job efficiently and effectively.

Shift: Seasonal role (April to August)

• Forklift/PIT operation to ensure product is moved efficiently.
• Moving full pallets throughout the facility, loading route trucks with cartons/pallets of product, and unloading returned cartons/materials from route truck efficiently.
• Maintaining proper housekeeping standards in work areas
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Attendance in warehouse team meetings as required.

• Skill working in a team-based environment.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required.
• Forklift experience is considered an asset.

*Preference will be given to applicants with grade 12 or equivalent

Physical demands and working conditions:

• Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 8-12 hours a day.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
• Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
