Role Overview

This role will support the A&M Procurement agenda for North West Europe (NWE) and other BUs (depending of the needs) and is responsible for supporting the management of agency roster and optimization on Non-working A&M initiatives particularly in the area of agency fees, contracting and reporting.Key objective of this role is to partner with the NWE Brand teams to drive efficiencies and effectiveness to the BU A&M investment in the A&M non-working initiatives particularly in the area of agency fees, contracting and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy & Optimization:
  • Lead efforts in tender facilitation, vendor management, negotiations on agency fees, ad production etc to ensure effective use of resources;
  • Actively seek and propose initiatives that enhance cooperation with vendors, aligning cost efficiency with high service standards;
  • Identify and exploit opportunities to drive efficiency and deliver productivity;
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with brand teams and legal to ensure contracts with agency partners meet the highest standards, including clear KPIs and compliance requirements;
  • Maintain and promote preferred supplier lists, ensuring they are annually updated and adhered to by brand teams;
  • Provide P2P Policy Training to Brand Managers and other key stakeholders to foster compliance and efficiency;
  • Supplier Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to maximize value through performance management, rationalization, and leveraging global and regional agreements;
  • Proactively monitor and address supplier performance, ensuring alignment with company goals for cost, quality, service, and innovation;
  • Governance & Compliance:
  • Act as the control owner for GCS P2P controls, overseeing supplier selection, contract management, and TPDD processes;
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, maintaining compliance across all initiatives;
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Track procurement value delivery, ensuring transparent and consistent reporting of productivity and Cost Avoidnace;
  • Support Across Markets:
  • Provide procurement expertise and assistance for other markets when necessary, ensuring consistency and value delivery across regions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in Advertising & Marketing (A&M) or a related category, or alternatively in client service or strategic planning roles within an advertising agency;
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiations, supplier management, and optimization of procurement processes;
  • Experience in multi-market or regional environments is highly advantageous;
  • Familiarity with the agency-marketer landscape and an understanding of the dynamics between stakeholders and vendors;
  • Technical Knowledge - comprehensive understanding of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes and procurement governance frameworks;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights;
  • Knowledge of financial fundamentals and business acumen to drive cost efficiencies;
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
  • German and/or Dutch language is a plus;
  • Intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset;
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to interact and build trust at all levels of the organization;
  • Attention to detail and precision in execution.
