As the Commercial Manager Foods, you will own the commercial strategy and P&L for Snacks and Grains categories across several Nordic markets. You will develop and implement annual commercial plans in collaboration with Go-To-Market partners to drive sustained growth. Your focus will be on strengthening long-term (distributor) partnerships, whilst ensuring strong governance through Global Control Standards.
Responsibilities- Business performance: Drive share, revenue, and profit growth across assigned markets, accounts, and categories. Implement actions to meet targets.
- Commercial planning: Develop annual commercial plans, align with Go-To-Market partners, and oversee execution.
- Strategic partnerships: Strengthen relationships with key distributors / partners to ensure seamless execution.
- People leadership: Manage Jr. Commercial Manager(s), setting clear priorities and supporting career development.
- Activations: Co-lead and evaluate impactful in-store campaigns across markets.
- Budgeting & performance tracking: Ensure compliance with Global Control Standards while managing budgets, forecasting sales, and tracking monthly performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Northern Europe category teams, leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Experience: 7+ years in FMCG, ideally with a top branded player.
- Market knowledge: Strong understanding of Nordic retail, specifically Denmark.
- Sales & people leadership: Proven ability to lead successful sales teams and develop commercial talent.
- Communication skills: Strong presentation and communication abilities, with influence across internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical skills: Experience with Nielsen and GfK data analysis.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Danish is essential.
- Relationship building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strategic thinking: Capable of navigating complex business challenges and driving long-term strategy.
- Matrix leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
