- Creates a plan and schedule for cycle counting of parts and take ownership of annual cycle counting
- Reconciling parts in CMMS quantities against physical inventory counts
- Updates CMMS counts based on cycle counting and annual count
- Create new parts entries in CMMS
- Create Min/Max and reordering levels for parts in CMMS, based on historical use and lead times
- Works with maintenance planner to order and kit parts for downday maintenance and annual overhaul of the lines
- Submits requisitions for parts approval to maintenance supervisor and manager
- Sends PO to vendors once requisition is approved by maintenance supervisor and manager
- Tracks parts received against PO issued
- Advises invoicing clerk when all parts / services are received against a PO so the invoice can be processed
- Maintains accurate tracking of all POs issued every period and of open requisitions
- Maintains accurate tracking of PO issued against the invoices submitted every period
- Work closely with the maintenance team to place orders
- Receive invoices and track spending against monthly maintenance/manufacturing budget
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Strong technical / Mechanical background to be able to work with maintenance technicians and vendors to order necessary parts
- Good computer skills and knowledge
- Previous experience with Infor, SAP, MS Office, MS Excel will be an asset but not a requirement
- Demonstrate a high level of autonomy (ability to work under minimal supervision)
