Temporary role until end of the year with the option to extend to indefinite/permanent contract

The Regional account manager is part of the Sales Away From Home Team. He/She will be responsible for the development and implementation of state-of-the-art account management within sub-wholesalers, vending customers, regional brewers and local channel clients in the South of Belgium and within Luxembourg (Convenience, Forecourt, non-food led stores). The Regional account manager will collaborate with the sub-wholesaler and regional brewers to secure and develop business opportunities and will build a strong relationship with his/her customer in order to create long term growth. He/she will use his/her high selling and negation skills, best practice and networking to hunt and convert new clients  from competitors with focus on the long-term relationship and win–win situations.

Responsibilities
  • Profound customer understanding (background, wholesaler, Sub wholesaler structure, customer strategy, channel structure, etc.)
  • Deliver budget objectives for our food portfolio (volume, gross sales, net revenue)
  • Negotiation, implementation and follow up of agreements
  • Defend, secure and develop his/her volume portfolio and negotiate contracts
  • Identify and capture business opportunities within allocated accounts and new accounts
  • Perfect implementation of Perfect Store guidelines
  • Close monitoring of customer investment (budgets).
  • Develop and execute activations within budget limits together with customers to create additional volumes
  • Optimization of assortments and introduction of new products
  • Analytical skills: Use market data (eg. sub wholesale data, Customer data, etc) to leverage impactful business review with his/her clients.
  • Basic Profit & Loss understanding to negotiate pay for performance contracts
Qualifications
  • A first experience within Away from home channel or account management program/internship
  • Strong communication, persuasion and relationship management skills with the ability to interact and communicate with different levels in the company and within the customer
  • Excellent negotiator with a feeling for facts and figures
  • Result-oriented and driven towards growth
  • Strong administration and analytical skills, problem solving abilities, including data driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking capabilities
  • A 'can do' mentality with a strong Team spirit
  • Flexible worker with strategic mindset
  • Excellent excel and powerpoint skills
  • Bi-lingual: French native/fluent – English, Dutch (basic) is a plus
